The Depreciation Guild - Chariot.... or maybe School of Seven Bells - I L U, or maybe Lights Out Asia - Shifting Sands Wreck Ships.
I have a mix planned for that soon enough; I doubt that A Day In The Country will come out and I doubt I'll be changing my mind, so the tracklist won't change much unless I find out some of these songs really came out in 2009. Like Listless by The Depreciation Guild. But I'm still going to wait until January, just because. Even if I do have a new computer.
It's pretty cool. I kinda miss Classic mode, but I'll figure out Sheepshaver and DosBox and Basilisk and such, and I can play Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana on it, woo. The mouse is wonky. I like being able to scroll with it, I don't like accidentally scrolling.
On music, I'm utterly in love with the song Ping Pong by Stereolab (not the best song of 2010 because it came out in 1994. You'd never know, listening to the lyrics. Ah, farfisa drenched pop about the failures of capitalist society. huger slump and greater wars and a shallower recovery. there's only millions that lose their jobs and homes and sometimes accents. there's only millions that die in their bloody wars, it's alright. Don't worry, shut up, sit down, go with it and be happy.
I did say that one of Trade Martin's reasons he's committing crimes against music is because he's using equipment that was outmoded when I was in the womb. Yes, Stereolab does it. Yes, I like Stereolab a lot. Your point? Stereolab doesn't sing about how we need to stop the mosque at ground zero and rhyme understand with stand or attack with fact or trust with much. Or use slapping sound effects when they call something a metaphorical slap in the face.
Seen: someone with a t-shirt with Cupcake Attack! and Gir on it. You know. Gir from Invader Zim? There was a guy with xmas lights on his pants too. A pity nobody combined Gir and xmas lights.
burning question: where would you use a word like ghlbtsk? A game of scrabble? It's a worm from Croatia, I swear.
