LoZ Temple Week (music within)
Jun. 27th, 2006 07:55 pmWell, I guess I should be satisfied. They're playing a Season 9 episode, which is before the rapid decline.
Woodfall Temple - some tribal stuff with ululations and other vocal noises.
Moon wants this because it was a temple in a swampy jungle place and he said he had a smartass comment to make. I was going to post the Ocarina of Time music first, but, oh well. Majora's Mask's temple music always seemed more minimal to me.
I think the samples were used in Holo Holo Bird from Baten Kaitos II, along with a few new vocal sounds. I'll upload that soon.
Here's a dream.
july 2, 2002.
To a temple of stone, between the twinned worlds. I get an excellent view of the lower one’s nightside, it is dark with patterns of light in lines and bright spots. The above one is dayside, and there are citadels with green roofs. Between are a moon tearing itself apart and spitting gouts of flame out both sides and a moon like a potato. I am on a metal bridge with multitined poles and orange gaslamps on the underside, and I have to find some sort of gilded bow before I leave. The bow is across the bridge, in a room with columns covered with moss, and a stone tile floor with viscous, pale mud in places corroding the tiles, brass framework and rotting wooden stakes. The earth-toned walls are carved with faces and hieroglyphs.
I have the bow.
There is a misty and damp forest of pale trees growing out of thick water, with a spectral rider carrying a two-tined spear that drips motes of light.
Now, for some reason, I go back across the bridge and climb a ladder, remembering that I have seen that view before, a long time ago, when I was traveling as a child...
PS: If you haven't seen it yet, check out the link in the previous entry. You know who you are.
