Elf Fatima - Breaking the Waves

Too bad Elf Fatima had to be from China. I managed to snag one album from Soulseek (Take THAT, Ministry of Bone-Crushing Repression, which, judging by their willingness to help out our friends from a while ago, is not only not supportive of making good music known, but has an interest in bad music, possibly as punishment for Elf Fatima and Prague), which is nice, and all, but there's another one coming out and there's the one with Breaking the Waves. Nonetheless, this stuff is way too good to not let everyone else have. I said it before. The Chinese are musical gods.

Also, they have a myspace (4 songs, and if you play the new demo in both your mp3 player of choice and in the myspace player, it actually sounds pretty cool. I had a thirty second offset) and a website (one song, which I need to rip, despite its quality.)

Other stuff:

The 303s - 1950s Decor

Letters to Cleo - I See - I heard this song on an episode of Daria, fell in love with it, looked it up in the music guide someone had on outpost-daria.com, and immediately snagged it. It's no Elf Fatima, though.

Sakareller. Post-rock from the people who brought you cheap Star Wars ripoffs and a city called Batman. The site is in Turkish, but you'll figure it out.

Still have no idea of the fate of the Twelve Days of Wonky Roms. Nobody really seems terribly disappointed. I will have an entry with a paragraph or two devoted to each rom I had left to review at the very least, though.

There's an insane amount of stuff to get here, as usual.
