The Other Side of the Sky
Aug. 13th, 2008 10:40 pmA few nights ago, I didn't get to sleep at all. There was a slow moving thunderstorm with some loud claps that set off a car alarm and possibly a dog. Damn rain. If I wanted it to rain every day, I'd hang out in Oregon. Except I'd find somewhere to go where it rains all the time that doesn't have nazis.
Miaou's new album is awesome. Jessamine is also awesome. That's a great thing about Atease, people will name bands and musicians I am familiar and name other bands and musicians that I'll check out and like. Jessamine, not Miaou, as I knew of Miaou beforehand, and I discovered them on my own as far as I know.
I'm happy.
I don't have to rely on Scarletdeath anymore. I found Greykin on Deviantart and I don't think he's ever acted explicitly hostile or explicitly anything towards me, and that means I don't have to rely on a Styphon apologist so if things work out in my quest for three lost friends I'm undertaking in this series of entries, we will jump up and down and up and down and dance around and around and around!
As for today, well, I was at yet another concert in Boston and a Japanese person in front of me was eating chocolate and barbeque potato chip ice cream that she made. How do I know she's Japanese, you ask? Easy! Her accent and her sins against iced cream. I thought about asking if it was good. She probably thought so. I bet she's at home right now making ice cream flavored ice cream and meatloaf and little milk chocolate people with raspberry filling; male and female ice cream.
I pulled a muscle swatting at mosquitos. They're probably mocking me, those bastards.
Lesson Learned: If you want proof that there's a Creator, look no further than the mosquito. If you want to be assured that someone other than Loki created everything, look somewhere else.
Burning Question: Have you ever made up a flavor of ice cream that nobody's ever eaten before and actually made it?
