On moon day, I begun to think that nobody should expect anything except for interludes. I mean, with Greykin inactive on DeviantArt, Adara not paying attention to livejournal, and Yuna vanished utterly over a year ago, I don't have a reason to put "Have you got anything with a happy ending?" yet. I mean, I will. But not now. Not for a while. I can't use the PM function there and I'm only close to a few people. In the way that Toliman and the Sun are close (on Fire's Day, I bought The Wake, and on some future Satyrday, you could figure that out)

On Truesday, I was harassed by someone (and someone from Gamingforce IMed me when I wasn't paying attention) claiming my screen name was on some site.

On Wodensday, I listened to a guy playing bluesy guitar at the Orange Line platform at Downtown Crossing, got on a crowded train and watched Charles Ansbacher conduct symphonic dancing. I kept the program tucked between the cover and first page of Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman, and here's my thoughts:

La Boutique Fantastique - Leave it to the Italians to come up with a dance based around the spasms caused by spider bite.
The Bartered Bride - Dance of the Comedians - Rather wild. Smetana is always good. Most stuff from Slavic countries.
Valse Triste - There is an Italian film called Allegro non Tropo, a parody of Fantasia, and in the one for this piece, a cat wanders in a bombed out house. It's lovely.
Fandango asturiano (Rimsky-Khorsakov) - A Russian interpretation of Spanish music.
Greek Dances (Skalkottas) - Ethnic instruments would be nice, but it works.
Mambo!!! (Oboe-Lee) - A bit too repetive, but good.
Batuque (Fernandez) - One of the most interesting pieces there. It's a standard orchestra's interpretation of Amazon native music.
Strauss - All I can think of is 2001.
Bolero - Goes on too long for its own good, but I don't care what anyone there says, it's good. The video on Allegro non Troppo is also very good. Think Dr. Seuss. Except with an evil monkey that becomes civilized and kills the other fantastic creatures.
Boatsmans' Dance - I don't remember who did this, or what it was called. Gluck? Started with a G.

On Thirstday, they stopped, after I explained to one of them that someone put my name on there and rattled off butterfly genuses.

On Fire's Day, John McCain chose the most incompetent woman he could find as vice president, Long live John McCain. I know that Bush could be struck down by a random meteor, making Cheney president, but that's not likely. McCain has a realistic chance of croaking, making Palin president. Someone at Atease said that Michael Palin would make a better president, and I agree.

I also bought The Wake, but I mentioned that, and sorted out some stuff that took way longer than it should.

On Satyrday, I decided to support the Scorched Earth Party, a satirical political party started by a man who has better names for his children (Miranda and Cordelia, compared with Piper, Paxton, Willow, and Hunter) It will never work. Intellectualism is bad bad bad bad bad.

On Son's Day, I wrote this. And I found out there was an earlier storm in the Pacific called Alma. Alma, Gustav. How curious.
