Just a note, it may or may not load; I was having a bit of trouble connecting to the server and uploading it. Things seem to be in order now, though. When I tested it, it loaded.
The plan for the rest is Friday, Saturday, Tuesday. I simply don't have the time tomorrow. Turns out I was missing one of the classes I needed for a math degree and wasn't able to take it last semester. After that, well, Final Fantasy V in late May to early June and the other endings in Chrono Trigger some time in August and maybe a total revision of the Tales of Phantasia guide, so I'll probably do a few rom hack reviews of Sonic. No penis rom hacks. I don't even think they exist for Sonic. Palette swaps from Hell, however... and some good ones for good measure.
August Bodies has a new song on their myspace. Actually, four new songs. One's called Eshg Man, which sounds a bit like a Mega Man boss in a very half-assed rom hack. You know the type, the ones where Mario is changed to fuckr and level to shitt and nothing else makes sense as a consequence.
Luckee Cookie asks:
1. Of the various elements in game (character, story, music etc), what do you think is the factor that makes or breaks a game?
Controls break it. A good story or nice graphics and music would lift it higher, but an ugly game doesn't mean an unplayable game, and you can see the Magic School Bus writeup for how I deal with bad music in a video game. A bad story with mediocre gameplay might not keep me engaged, though.
2. What song would you say would represent your life as of so far & why?
Slowdive - Brighter
I know I posted the lyrics already.
3. How/what would you consder as "time well spent"?
A summer day under a tree with a good book.
4. If the sun would ever rise again after today, how would you react?
I guess I'd have the night sky to look at while I look for the sun blocking machine and some bombs to plant at its base.
5. Your opinion of Canada. I've heard things from you here and there but I'm curious what you think of it overall.
It's somewhere I can travel to easily but never did and have little desire to. There aren't any monkeys, the music is terrible, the culture doesn't seem distinct to what I've already seen. To Canada's credit, they do have polar bears and aurora borealis.
So, yeah.
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me!"
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...
Actually, it sort of died with me.
Burning Question: What is Eshg Man's power?
