Things learned: Goats have weird eyes. I've seen goats before, I just never noticed the eyes. Sheep have that weird horizontal slitted eye too, apparently. They're also used in dissections and that's what you'll see when you do an image search for them. Can anyone more knowledgeable than me explain this?

Day 15 - Post a screenshot from the game you’re playing right now.

This screenshot was taken on Day 15. I'm well-past that point now; I'm at the end of the second disc.

Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes.
Final Fantasy XII

Day 17 - Favorite antagonist.
Judge Gabranth, Dhaos, and Jie Revorse. No, I don't know why everyone calls Revorse a complete monster. He's a well-intentioned extremist.

Day 18 - Favorite protagonist.
Klarth F. Lester
Or maybe Locke Cole.

Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in.

Maybe. Maybe Spira, if I was an Al Bhed (yes, I'd take being reviled over being forced to live in medieval stasis). Maybe Fifth Jerusalem, even if gnosis are a pain in the arse. I can't take screenshots from my tv, though.

Day 20 - Favorite genre.
RPG

---south sudan can sell its top level domain. That will be its entire economy.

---thoughts on kevin kim's soaring over the vast expanse. It sounds like it's name. It's pretty cool, even if I can think of notes that would fit better even if I can't express that in words or even notation.

It doesn't make me think of the moon at all (the conductor said today was the 42nd anniversary of the moon landing. The moon is more desolate, more cold, and more bouncy, and would probably have a Gregorian chant and Tibetan gongs and drawn out flutes if it wasn't a near-vacuum.

Then we landed on the moon again. And then nothing happened… but in 2012, the moon lands on YOU! Thank this if you're still alive on December 23, 2012.

(there's a memorable scene involving the moon landing in The Iron Dragon's Daughter. That's my memory of the moon landing. If transmigration of consciousness happens, obviously I don't remember it.)

----thoughts on pyotr ilyich tchaikovsky
violin concerto: not the most memorable thing ever, but that was because it came before the 4th symphony, which the conductor said echoes the flow of Beethoven's 5th.

Maybe so, but the first movement was much more schizophrenic and diverse. I like the second movement a lot.

There were at least 9000 people there. No, I won't say it. Fuck off.

-------I saw someone who remembered who I was after half a decade or so. Amazing, huh? His name seems familiar… choco-chip cookies (pronounced like in chocobo and not as in chocolate), he didn't say choco, his friend did. I don't know.

--------
burning question: why is there a map of the Earth in Final Fantasy VIII? Remember: There are no wrong answers. If there were wrong answers, it wouldn't be a burning question.
burning question 2: Did anyone else notice this?
