down the up escalation
Dec. 22nd, 2011 08:40 pm-Of Madison Rising: I think when your band's main selling point is that you're conservative, I don't even have to listen to know that you suck.

DO YOU SEE THIS, MADELEINE?
*
- They have a screech owl (pretty small by owl standards, had to be force-fed, it swallowed the last mouse half on its own), a mallard, and a goose at the wildlife center. I thought it was going to be a quiet day, but most of the interns are gone.

Tab sends me to the tags section, which I never use. I don't think it should do that, since tab is supposed to indent things. Oh, well, I'd be lying if I said web design wasn't about making things very difficult on anything that wasn't a top of the line computer, and inconvenient for anyone with one. It's always been like that.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit is out, and it's a lot harder than Avernum 1, holy crap, it is harder than Avernum 1. I'd like to do a day by day comparison/ not really a let's play of the two games, but I won't do that until April at the earliest.
I posed this right before Kim Jong Il died: Why does the US government compare unstable regimes to North Korea? Hasn't North Korea been relatively stable, for all its faults?
I guess not anymore. Unlike last time, where I asked why I couldn't get a critique on DeviantArt no matter how many times I asked for one, I got two. One sucked and was basically "I didn't actually read this because I don't know what's going on even after I read two and a half paragraphs because I have to be fed everything with a spork," despite the narrator waking up in an unfamiliar city (guess he hasn't read Dhalgren or Gormenghast or many other novels.) and one was decent, if for an out of date revision. Speaking of that, I have a few things to upload to deviantart, even if my views per artwork has been dropping like it was wearing concrete galoshes ever since I found my digital camera. It's a matter of posting at the right time and I know I haven't been doing that.
I thought about asking which music defines winter for you, but it feels more like early November outside.
So, here's a new burning question: Do humans qualify as elongated mammals?
