Mar. 8th, 2012 12:56 pmWe have a golden pheasant at the wildlife center, we think she was someone's pet that escaped this time, we're just waiting for him to have a home. They're not indigenous to New England, nay, the Americas, they're actually Chinese. (EDIT: there's a picture of him on the website, and it's just the lighting and the fact that I only got a brief glimpse of the tail that made me think he was female)
This is a male.
The females are nowhere near as brightly-colored.
Today is the first perfect day of the year, except maybe it's too windy, and maybe one of those days in January qualified.
Around 33 years ago, there was a band called Human Sexual Response. Before that, one of the members had an all-kazoo band called Kazoondheit. I wonder if there are some recordings of this out there. I thought I had more to talk about, but I don't. Mostly, I just wanted an excuse to post this
burning question: do you ever wake up with the feeling that someone or something is trying to communicate with you via dreams?
