I thought there'd be babies, but I was wrong. It was still winter on Monday, after all, and it's not like animals can just have sex and have a baby magically appear out of nowhere.

What I did get was a really excellent shot of Falco the red-tailed hawk, a bunch of Penelope and Gallop, and some reptiles. Here. I'll post a few right now. Imageshack wasn't being cooperative, because I guess it thought it was getting more satire of the terrible variety.

Falco's tail.

It's still there. It's been there since Fishy Dreams, and the story about it is there. I swear it will be there when I post entries called The Wonder Show of the Universe or Verdant Praise. So, yeah, if it's 2016 and you're cruising around on your hoverboard and graze yourself on it, now you know.

Penelope has cool eyes.

And so does Gallop.

The great thing about digital cameras is not having to waste film on failed shots of animals that know what cameras are and do their best to duck out of the way as soon as you take a picture.
I saw a red-winged blackbird when walking the dog, but I didn't have the camera with me.

The great thing about robots.txt is that the Internet Archive still has the stuff it collected before that (so I can get on Toast For Morons again), you just have to wait until the offending squatter disappears. I'm kind of concerned that FOX or the Writers' Guild is going to force the Simpsons Fanworks Central to use robots.txt on their site to keep the scandal away from the Internet Archive savvy public in the future.

I'm obsessed with A Sunny Day In Glasgow.
Also, I think Asakiyume would like this band: Language of Light

Burning question: What kind of music defines spring for you? For me, it's either really noisy, or really twee, or both.
