A Toothy Grin
Aug. 6th, 2012 09:14 pmI was overwhelmed with burning questions and titles or rather, my lack of them, so I waited until now, even though I did go to the MFA on Friday. If I had really interesting things to talk about, I'd have posted then.
I was thinking "Hey, what if the Egyptian religion is correct after all. People are going to the afterlife wearing only half a suit."
I also thought "if only this pit that is a 21st century version of the hole at the ICA that someone described as a movie theater you can't escape was suspended in air. Then it would make a great visualization of a tesseract."
And that wall with a scattering of subway tiles had photographs of other works at the MFA, along with children's renderings of them and descriptions and nouns
And there was a sculpture of a building with photographs of the windows.

We released an opossum mother with eleven babies who was dehydrated and stuck in someone's wall; she ran off and left five of her babies behind. She'll probably come back when all five of those weird things with two legs and hairless bodies leave. But if she doesn't, they're old enough to survive on their own.
there are pictures of her here.
Super Worms are basically mealworms on steroids. There were a lot of dead ones and they stink and their fetor made my head spin, but interns tell me they smell just as bad when they're alive.
Burning question: What's the worst smell you've encountered?
