It smelled like something died in the medical corridor near Holding and Super Quiet.

I finally told Ian the cat in the video is named Cream. I only found out (blame temporal diffraction for this) anywhere from two weeks to two months ago. I'll have to sketch him next week, though.

Alec is planning to use Brigitte in one of his schemes. Something about visiting her in the hospital and then telling her when she shows up Friday that it's because he came to visit her that she's better.

There's a great blue heron, a goose who will probably live out the rest of his life on one foot, whether he lives a miserably short or long and fulfilling life is yet unknown, a hummingbird. But no swans.

Désireé was in the Catbird Café, and she had one of her sketchbooks with her (a compilation of song lyrics she likes and one set of lyrics from a band she hates her friend put there, a rainbow thing and mushroom done in a mix of crayons and colored pencils which is unfinished, a third thing I can't remember). If they're on Facebook, I can't find them. Desiree's favorite page of my sketchbook is the one with the girl with dark glasses, the woman with giganterous hips talking on a smartphone, a guy with aviator sunglasses and a black head-wrap, a guy with a Mario t-shirt and a cool beard, a guy with a backwards hat. I think it's the girl with the glasses she likes.

I drew her portrait and even put squiggles around her name. So it's all fancy-like and totally not because I fucked up and wrote an accent over the first and second e and not the first and final e like it should be.

I didn't find those things she had in her sketchbook, but here are some things.

Jessica was immortalized in my sketchbook and in a photograph of it too, but will be in Iceland or somewhere more environmentally conscious but containing less amazing wildlife than Madagascar, until September. And we'll see more of each other then.

My portrait of her was kinda rushed. Not as rushed as Désireé, though, and she didn't have to stop to grab anything before I drew her mouth (in an alternate world: she's sitting in on surgery and therefore wearing a face mask). Brigitte, however, came out awesome.

Rob said that Madagascar is next on his list, before they completely tear it down. It used to be really good with conservation but then an Afrofascist government took power.

I stopped doing lessons learned a long time ago but I learned "never be single at a comedy club…" from various people and learned "baseball games are not good places to stare at women" from Alec. Maybe if he had a sketchbook with him, he'd get away with it, and even notice things about people he wouldn't otherwise notice.

Burning Question: What is it that makes some people obsessed with the idea of other worlds, of a reality beyond the one everybody sees?
