my life in paper
Jun. 22nd, 2017 05:27 pmI photographed all these sketchbook pages back in February, uploaded them to Imgur and then found out only half of them uploaded for whatever reason, thought "hey, it's probably just a glitch. I'm not worried about it."
I made a promise that I'd have these pictures up before Jill's birthday. Imgur is great for hosting individual images and especially wonderful for taking images off of Facebook and giving them a more permanent home. Imgur is not good at uploading a lot of images at once. More annoyingly, it uploaded a bunch of images out of order so I couldn't just start from where I left off.
So I don't make any guarantees as to when the next one will show up. Uploading a hundred images is unnecessarily tedious and I don't like doing it. Taking a hundred pictures is tedious and obviously there are no better ways of doing things. Changing the size and converting a hundred pictures is tedious but at least it's not as tedious as it used to be. Copying a hundred image urls is tedious and if there's a better way to do that, I can't think of it.
I also make no guarantees that every image is in its right place.

burning question: so, everything in Sonic 3 is either some kind of ancient ruin or it was very obviously built by Robotnik. What's with Carnival Night, then? Did Robotnik prioritize building a theme park over building a launch base, which is fairly classic Robotnik? Did the ancient floating island always have a gaudy theme park? Did Robotnik built a theme park on the ruins of an ancient theme park? Did he modernize an older theme park?
