a lapse of misrepresented time
Jul. 9th, 2018 07:36 pmI watched an episode of Bob’s Burgers from the beginning of the season a few weeks ago and thought “wait, that was from this season?”
Time is flowing in strange ways for Morgan and whoever was eating a mixture of pulled pork and mac and cheese (look: I know most of their names. I just don't know who's who.) as well.
We have a peregrine falcon, a raven or crow with a messed up wing. A snapping turtle tried to eat a cygnet’s butt so now we have the cynget.
We have a snapping turtle entirely unrelated to that incident, along with a painted turtle and a red-eared slider who is going to be sent down south as soon as possible. The foxes are still with us and still planning escapes, we’re just waiting for their lead levels to go down. Jen says it's normal for them to plan escapes. Jen does not want to go spelunking for them. Primrose suggested sending in the Navy Seals to rescue them if that ever happens. We have a peregrine falcon. We have baby phoebes and starlings and house sparrows. We’re going to keep the phoebes and transfer the others. Starlings tend to build their nests in bowl shapes so that their legs aren't splayed out and as they grow, their leg bones grow properly. Sometimes this doesn't happen and we have to help correct it. We have a baby seagull and a baby turkey and a goose who is incompatible with every life form on the planet. We released the blanding's turtle and some opossums.
Iesha has green hair and copper and sapphire earrings and a tattoo of a rose on her foot and an owl in flight on her back. Marissa has two deer, a stag with an acorn and a doe with a flower, and her friend has two tsunamis colliding to form a heart. Both of them had pet bearded dragons. Iesha also has a tortoiseshell cat and a guinea pig, while both Marissa and her friend have cats. I can't remember their names but Michael has Admiral Ackbar and Boudicca, who is a very skittish cat unlike her namesake. Christine has a pastel-colored catfish tattoo that matches her hair and if you thought she had a bearded dragon with her, you’d be wrong; she has a guinea pig. A woman with butterfly and black star tattoos on her shoulder had a pet piglet.
Morgan tried to make some popcorn for the raccoons, first in a plastic bowl and then in a paper bag. She got the teeniest tiniest popcorn from the bowl and maybe three pieces of burnt popcorn from the bag. Sorry, raccoons. Sucks to be you. We don’t think raccoons care about burnt popcorn.
Meanwhile, Sam* (?) hollowed out some potatoes and put dried chicken and other things in there, and some others were cleaning out the freezer, so the room smelled of mice and dog food and rotting fruit and mice.
The cookie dough was frozen. Morgan says it’s because it’s evil. There was enough cookie dough in the fridge for one cookie but you’d end up making people fight over that and who would want that?
We have fifty-one raccoons.
“There are no rules in the raccoon enclosure”
A raccoon got stuck upside-down for ten minutes. “Figure it out, bud.”
Someone called a hedgehog a battle hamster.
*I know it wasn't Caitlin or Alex, because Jacob was showing them around and the others were wondering just where they were and I said that maybe they went to the moon.
there should be a remake of Bad Dudes in which the president is kidnapped by ninjas and they stay at home and play video games, or maybe they help the ninjas fight the MAGA-vengers, like The Human Elevator, V for V, Not-A-Swastika Boy, Captain Frog.
I've finally beaten Xenoblade and I have some thoughts to share now that it's six years late and the toxic parts of the fandom moved on to dismissing criticism of the hypersexualized bunny girl in the sequel. Anyways, there's a quest towards the end of the game and you have to fight two monsters, one of which stuns you when you hit him. There's a very specific strategy of "Sharla heals, Shulk uses monado purge whenever possible even though it's unreliable, and Reyn takes the monster's big attack, up until you've built up the blue bars and can topple him with a combo attack" What you have to do when the monster uses said big attack is hope Reyn builds enough aggro that the monster attacks him instead because Reyn is the only character who can survive that attack. What I did three times is warned Sharla, which takes up one blue bar, which usually results in the monster killing you, ending the fight or using up another blue bar.
Your reward is a character's last skill set.
You know, after you've done everything else in the game.
