You’re probably wondering why I picked all platforming games, when there are plenty of wonky RPGs out there. Well, a platformer was meant to be beaten within a short time, usually less than a day.

I learned to pick Toejam Only after realizing that Earl was not controlled by the AI. Ok, so, yeah, the programmers here also used acid, just like every other game here.
Level 1: It’s pretty cool, actually. Graphics are vibrant and trippy, and you have to capture all the humans. They also have the worst method of transportation, which involves springboarding and letting gravity take you down.

Level 2: There’s a flower field with a ringed planet in the background later in the level. And hell. Complete with fire. So, it's called the Underfunk. It's still hell. Hell has other names. The Netherworld, Hades, Rangoon. And no humans.

Level 3: Crystals! Oh, and it’s called Funkytown, which means you get a special song. It gets very annoying here.

Level 5: It looks like the first level. And has that flower field. The only difference is new enemies, which include “ghost cows” and “ducks that ride flying carpets.” Since there’s really nothing new in terms of level design, it’s getting kind of tedious.

Level 7: Well, this is new. It’s snowy. Dogs are the epitome of annoying in this game, as usual. The password system makes me appreciate Mega Man’s grids a little more. There’s a part where you have to get up to a ghost cow by using the sponge on the ground, and anyone who’s played James Pond’s Crazy Sports knows how incredibly annoying this can be.

Level 9: It looks like the FIRST LEVEL! Except it has ducks. And those photographers that disorient you, take away a huge chunk of your health, and leave you to the mercy of that stupid duck, or even the poodles. 3 of them can rip you to shreds, you know.

Level 11: Just another ice level. I found out that ghost cows can possess you and take away health.

Level 13: It’s the moon, even though there’s another moon in the sky. The trees are silver and red. The ground is pink. There are stars in the background. There are lots of purple bubbles. I hate those things. It’s short, but very vicious.

Level 15: Nothing special. Just a bottomless pit that loops (remember the water slide in Labyrinth Zone or that place in Ice Cap where you had to slide the blocks through the walls to get by? Yeah, it’s like that, except there’s a different area on each level.

I liked it, it just turned out to be a “find the hidden Earthlings” type game, and as such, was not really meant to be played in one sitting.

So, yeah, here's a question: Anyone reading this remember my first foray into the realm of making 12 entries about quirky video games? The one that wasn't so successful due to various problems.
