yamamanamaOn Wodensday, I went to see Verdi's Requiem and saw a man with one leg playing guitar at Downtown Crossing station (and dear Loki, Ananzi, and Insect-Aspect, I hope you guys who keep IMing me figure out that I'm not even close to LA). As for the Requiem, someone had way too much fun with bubbles before it and all the requiem needs is a sledgehammer. I'm proud of you if you figure out why. Last concert of the summer.
On Thirstday, it was September 11 (happy birthday Immelman and Scott), a day to lament the death of freedom and 3000 people and continue to forget about everyone else who dies needlessly, and I decided to revise a few things in the Final Fantasy IV guide, they're not up yet but let it be said that Rydia learns fire 2 and fire 3 if you powerlevel, but she still can't melt the ice wall and progress any further.
On Fire's Day, I thought "doesn't Adara live in Galveston? Shit, I hope she's ok." And I don't know who I can ask. Well, I do, but she'll just shut me away for disagreeing with her. It's what I'm asking for in the title, right?
On Satyrday, this. And on Satyrday, someone quoted The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson and I decided I'm never going to see it on network TV and fuck you, FOX, I'm downloading it. It's an 80 meg avi and the resolution is low, but ha.
They haven't played the hurricane episode recently (but I think they've played it since Katrina, damn it) but I'm chalking that one up to FOX playing 20 episodes ad nauseum and then some.
Lesson Learned: Fox sucks.
