First perfect day? Maybe. There was a thunderstorm towards the end of it.

The squirrel that gave birth's children didn't survive, alas. The babies are just orphans. According to the Wildlife Center's twitter, one of them was found lying on his mother after she was killed by a car. And they had this goop on their genitalia. See, they tend to mistake each others' wee-wee for their mothers' nipples, and then they suck on it and they turn black and they can't pee out of it. Fuck me! It's non-toxic of course and it apparently tastes terrible. I wouldn't know.

More on Despicable Me: Christina has a plushy minion with one eye she won in Springfield or something. She had a dream that she was taking apart the volunteer sign-in book for some reason. She was stabbed in the nose with my index finger, because I was like "she's right in" POKE! "huh?" and she's like "ow!"

The porcupine was back, he had opened his wound. His caretaker agrees with my as-of-yet unrevealed Most Awesome Plan In This And All The Worlds (You'll know what it is in a future New York picture entry). And there was a raven, just referred to as "Raven" and not Matthew or Raphael or Edgar, but I only got a glimpse of him. I had to leave. There was a Russian tortoise with an unidentified lump, which was very quickly removed and very slowly stitched up. The tortoise bled, which is a good thing. The lump was put in some kind of preservative, where it will be sent elsewhere. Tortoise skin takes almost a year to heal, since their skin is formed of different materials and their metabolism is slower.

Fisher cats will go after porcupines; they grab them by the face and flip them over.

Salvador (I picked that name for him and anybody who's even heard of the Ninja Turtles will know why) kept trying to climb out of his box while his tub was being cleaned out, even when I put something on it.

I think I will paint something.

I had a burning question that related to events today, but damned if I can remember it, so here's an old one from the queue.

Burning Question: DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR OWN MOTIVES?
