This is the second gallery we went to, I know, I know. Let me tell you about the second gallery: The only way to get there was via elevator, so there was a long wait. Let me tell you why I posted the second gallery I went to first: because I have the most awesome plan ever and I'm going to finally share it with you. Behind the cut is a Tribute to Coney Island and it costs 300,000 dollarydoos. Let me tell you about my plan, which I had when I was in Massachusetts instead of in New York: I would stand up on a stool and ask everyone to donate some pocket change so that I can buy it and donate it to the MFA, because something that awesome has to be public and not collecting dust in someone's private collection only to be seen by a dozen people in the next fifty years. I'm convinced there was at least a million in pocket change. Trust me, they were probably going to waste it by buying drinks at the hotel and not at the nearby Kwik-E-Mart.

Let me tell you, if I won the lottery, I'd buy all the art I like and give it to the MFA.

Wow, imgur was nice today.

This isn't trompe-l'œil, this is actually a buildup of acrylic paint, and it's casting an actual shadow.

Not sure if that's a reference to an existing painting.

Made with actual butterflies. I don't think I'd make something like this, but it is cool.

I think that's Chewbacca, constipated with rage about the Empire's new neoteny ray.

That's how it's supposed to look.

I don't think that's an actual writing system. In fact, I think there's a human figure in there and I can kind of make out Evil Bart.

I think I actually know who the artist is…

And here it is, Coney Island.

And here's the inner workings of Coney Island.

Exterminate! Exterminate!
You see what I mean by 'no attempt at chronological or thematic order?'

Apparently, this Doggy Radio actually works.

Taking the name "elephant bird" literally. They're real things. Look them up.

Seee! Seeee! Isn't that the sound that eyeballs make? Seeeee! Seeee!

Foxglove.

Shepard Fairey.

Made with push-pins or maybe beads.

Yes, I know what this refers to.

Robot

These things make sound.

See burning question.

I believe this picture was taken in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

Burning Question: Isn't he a little short for a Stormtrooper?
