Those traffic cones never stood a chance
May. 25th, 2006 06:42 pmKirby can wait. I was at my friend's house and he was talking about how he was bored once and decided to hit traffic cones and traffic barrels with blinky lights on them at 2 AM.

Laurie's brother drew a picture involving cows. Cannibal cows drinking cow 'juice' out of a Coke can. Or something. It's all very abstract. And some of the cows have pitchforks for tails. She said something about it that would make a good entry title, but I can't remember it now.

It's a ridiculous sport, don't you think? As Ethan put it (and stole from Robin Williams), it involved a drunk Scotsman thinking it would be a really good idea to hit a wee ball into a gopher hole. Like pool, except the stick is bent. And like bowling, only the field is vast and has ponds and sand and a forest. Maybe a tribe of Ewoks on PCP for good measure. And bamboo. And a flag to give you a false sense of hope and a heart attack when you realize there are seventeen more holes to go.
