A question for you people to answer ~ and more Massive Attack.

Have you ever wondered what truly alien music would sound like? And if so, what do you think it would sound like? I was thinking about this while talking about the moon magic that Japanese people put on their CDs with Moon. He says "and I came to the conslusion it would sound extremely distorted and painful, or it would involve lots of stringed instruments."

I think it would involve lots of twangy ethereal things. Like Ephemera or Stellar Ferryboat by Yoko Kanno. Unless it's the moon, in which case, it would involve lots of chittering locust noises, along with lyrics in Italian and instruments played by people in the insanity-inducing telepathic fog.

Some people on a forum for people like Potion claim the Chinese have alien music, but then again, Potion and his clones on other message boards refer to anyone indigenous to a continent starting with A as things, so what do they know about alien music? NOTHING.
