Oh. The fruit owl was in "lumina real," not "allegory of immortality."

You can read Zapf Dingbats?

I think I've seen this photo before. The photo, not the actual skull. It's by Damien Hirst and it's called For the Love of God. It is a platinum cast of a skull encrusted with 8601 diamonds. And yes, they were selling a photograph of it. I can do that too. I just don't want to sell my own artwork for personal reasons.

Reminds me of Saturn Devouring His Son

This isn't actually projecting anything, there's a projector and what it projects is based on the assumed future motion of the lens, and if I guess if someone were to swing the lens, the projector wouldn't be able to predict that and would continue to project as normal . That was a really terrible description but it was a month ago and the description I got wasn't very good either. The picture isn't the greatest either.

Not a real snowman.

Looks like the Yi syllabary.

This isnt' actually art, someone ran afoul of the Mafia.

The sequel to the bicycle-lawnmower.

This one I really like. It's by an Indian woman who's name I can't remember. It's written down and buried under books, I'd imagine. If anyone knows this, please tell me. Anyway, I saw it and thought "Hey, this is kind of like my own stuff."

Different person.

This one's really intricate in person.

I had my own idea of finding a rom of Super Nudio Brothers and taking a screenshot when Naked Mario is on that staircase at the end of the level.

In a world with less taste, this would be aimed at the coiled-up Empire State Building.

The titles form a very brief story.

Tesseract

This one gets the tesseract-ness of the thing across better.

There was an audio recording to this. I don't remember what it was, but I totally imagine either The Devil Is In The Details by Boards of Canada or All These Worlds Are Yours by Lights Out Asia.

Actually a bunch of hanging LEDs.

The end.
And that's all the pictures I took when in New York that were worth posting.
burning question: CAN THE RHYTHM OF THE UNIVERSE'S BREATHING BE DETECTED BY STANDARD METABOLIC ANALYSIS?
