Goosebumps

yamamanamaGoosebumps came up in a conversation. Jeff said they sucked. In retrospect, yeah, they did, since they were probably written by a machine. But they were at different levels of suck. The originals were of the... uh... less sucky variety. The later ones, like Egg Monsters From Mars were a ridiculous level of suck.
Kevin remembers one snippet of cheesy dialogue for Welcome To Horrorland or something.
"Has anyone died on these rides?"
"Once."
"Oh, well, I kinda expected that."
"Nobody ever dies twice."
HAR HAR. Are you laughing? Somebody thought it was funny, apparently.
He read one of the Give Yourself Goosebumps books a while ago. It involved a mansion that was controlled by bats. Or something. I found blurbs of all the Goosebumps books somewhere. And there's one with lawn gnomes, apparently. I'm pretty sure I read that.
I have no idea how the Uh-Oh guy came up, but Kevin wants me to rip that guy who says Uh-oh or Oops whenever you undo something in Kid Pix. I'm hoping he makes it into a song. They managed to make dying BoBs from Marathon sound like Jingle Bells.
