yamamanamaI'm going to define a few terms first. "Sequestered" means that if the jury is deadlocked, they're put up in a hotel so that they can't communicate with the outside world. "Deadlocked" means the jury can't agree on a verdict. "If" is a conjunction meaning "in the event that" or "on condition of." So "if" we get "deadlocked," we'll be "sequestered" where we'll get a free room, free food, free swimming pool, free HBO, FREE WILLY!
That's assuming I even get empaneled.
And I think sequestration is rare outside of high profile cases.
And that's what happened if you don't see me post on Friday or Monday or comment on anything. Either that or a thunderstorm happened and I lost internet or power. I can't see the future. I've got nothing. Enjoy Mr. Potato Head on the Moon.
I must admit, I was expecting an actual Mr. Potato Head standing in the Sea of Tranquility.
