Coyotes are GONE. Not in the wild yet. But out near Washington, MA. And the fox is doing pretty good. I saw the kestrel and didn't think he looked that great, but it was a brief glimpse.
We're setting up a flight cage for our raptors so we don't have to chase them through the woods if they're too loud or too incapable of flying. While that was happening, we had to flight test a raptor inside and locked ourselves out of the laundry room. I think Jess and Laura and I were having another reptile box social while that was happening.
Skinky was active, Itsy Bitsy looked agitated, Spyro was Spyro. There's a good reason I take him out last when I show people or when I clean the reptile room alone, even if Salvador's tub is a pain in the arse to clean: so I don't have to get new gloves.
Jess said that if we had Spyro out, he'd leap off and we'd never see him again. Maybe we could make a harness for him. Anyway, it was too hot for us to sit out and watch Skinky.

China has taro ice cream. Or maybe it was manioc. Some kind of root vegetable. Don't remember. I've never been to China. It doesn't sound too bad, actually. Better than lobster ice cream (Jess imagines a frozen lobster bisque, I imagine vanilla ice cream with chunks of lobster in it, the reality might be something in between) or horse ice cream or chicken and telephone ice cream.

burning question: in Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, why did they think they were going to find replacement parts for a navigation computer on a desolate, monster-infested planet? I just made the plot to that game sound way better than it actually is.
