Chalk nebulae!
Abandoned spiderwebs. There was an entire bush festooned with spidersilk.
While it looks like a portal to an inverted world or possibly even The Inverted World, it turns to mud when you get close. This is the only one of these photographs I took today. The others I took back in August.
September 10th made me glad they don't do Esplanade concerts in September anymore, September 11th made me wistful that they didn't, since it was 95º F and humid and a perfect night for that.
Burning question: What are some perfect songs for the end of the summer?
