my favorite female vocalists as of 2007
Feb. 24th, 2007 08:19 pmNo longer hosted anywhere. Go find them yourself. You found this, after all. You're smarter than that.
Sevara Nazarkhan - Peace Song
Lush - Scarlet - Miki Berenyi and Emma Anderson
The 303s - Airtravel - Ingrid Dahl
Universal Hall Pass - Solar/Lunar - Melissa Kaplan
Azam Ali - Forty One Ways
Acid Mothers Temple - Pink Lady Lemonade - Kitagawa Hao
Asin - Itanong Mo Sa Mga Bata - Lolita Carbon, which sounds like a fake name.
Casey Desmond - Julia Butterfly Hill
Elf Fatima - Frozen Forest - Elf - 戴卓玲
If you don't like more than half of them, you're a spootface. Anyway, I'll edit a few more into this.
Anyway, as I said, not much exciting going on. Oops. Green, brown, testing. Hello? All further testing of the waters - ha, not having this album made me make a joke in Persian, and guess who said something in moon language - is to cease immediately. Whatever emerges from them will wrest the world to its own purposes... testing. Septemfasciata.
1. Whatshisbutt with the Freddy Kruger shirt was talking about a band called Death Before Dishonor or something, and he thinks the chorus to one of their songs was done by ogres. Ogre chorus, hmm, I think I need to hear this.
2. The Truth Hurts. But probably not as much as finding out what these bands are like. I bet thy don't even have ogres.
3. Isn't it funny how your mind blanks out when writing stuff about bands that suck? Or other things, of course. Ok, not funny, but annoying. What is funny, though, is that the thing I had in mind might have been about amnesia as a plot device.
4. Thai food is strangely non-oneirogenic. I had a hyperrealistic dream in which I was in this idealized suburb and I was with some guy and he was kicking a tall guy who couldn't go into water.
And the night before I got the Thai, I had a dream I was on Arrakis and being attacked by The Magdalene (from Weaveworld) or something.
5. Side Viridian now has 56 minutes and 13 seconds of stuff on it.
