stupid analogies and xenosaga art

I wasn't really paying attention, mostly just bashing the table with a plastic spoon. He said he was complementing me, but it wasn't like I was insulted. It's just that my head hurt, like if I tried to read the Life, The Universe, and Everything Board all at once. Firstly, his analogy was a load of spoot. Secondly, I wasn't even talking about pursuing anything romantic. Maybe he wasn't paying attention. That's bad.

Chris brought the Xenosaga art book. Libra is translated as Livera, which I can kind of imagine. More than Leo being translated as Neo, anyway. I can understand if they got Reo, due to that whole L and R being interchangeable thing. But translating it as Neo is just plain weird. I know it's possible to translate these things properly, since both Leo and Libra were spelled properly on the Star Ocean Till The End of Time logo.
At least, I think they meant to have his name be Leo. You get a cookie if you know who Neo the Lion is. The cookie is cursed.
Sagitta was something weird. Thagita or something. I KNOW they have "sa" in Japanese. Albedo is also spelled Allbedo. Nova is called Noix for some reason, which means nut in French.

Chris was talking about how they arrange decks of cards, and accidentally said the cards were arranged alphabetically by default instead of numerically. Emily brought up Sideways Stories from Wayside School, where they were stuck on the 19th floor or something and had to alphabetize all the numbers from one to a million. I think it's hell. Emily thinks it's limbo because they're dazed into thinking it's heaven. Maybe they do that in hell.
