All right. I told myself I'd wait until 11 PM or so, and if the pictures of the foxes show up on the wildlife center's Twitter and/or Facebook, I'll post them, and if they don't, I'll post, and you're going to have to wait until they show up and I feel like updating.
I also want to say that other people have read Opera Vita Aeterna so I don't have to. I already suffered through the War In Heaven and three random chapters of A Throne of Bones which consist of "goblins kill a woman gladiator and there are many failed attempts at humor based entirely on Vox's morass of invented terminology" and "an elf who is clearly based on Vox's wife ripostes evolution with the aid of a dragon," and that's more than enough Vox Day for anyone to suffer through.

I would take some pictures myself but at least five of our seven foxes are getting transferred out to a facility that specializes in medium-sized carnivore rehabilitation, hopefully the sixth one will be able to go with them, and as for the seventh, he's probably going to spend most of his time in isolation, because he has parasites and looks terrible.
Let it be said they are cute.
They love those tubes we have hanging from the ceiling.
And they were caught trying to tunnel underneath the cage.

Sloths go on the ground to poop and they have entire ecosystems living in their fur and they can breathe while upsidedown.

As for surgeries, a squirrel got his teeth … fixed… and a guinea pig had his eye removed, and a gull got physical therapy. Unfortunately, I wasn't there to witness these.

Nina and Lisa were making bird noises (including a very convincing mourning dove) because she wanted to know what bird sounded like R2-D2. She said she'd drag Lisa to Provincetown, put her in a trailer, so she can stay awake at 5 AM listening to birdsongs.
And the bird that Lisa was thinking about is a lyrebird and not a mockingjay.

I think I had a burning question in mind but I either forgot it or didn't have it in the first place. So here's something that happened.
Burning Question: There was a guy playing the Star Wars theme music on accordion at Park Street on Saturday, Smarchpril 26, 2014. How do I miss these things?
