yamamanamaHere is someone's plan for the space program: I'd only pick short people to send into space, so they take up less space and the capsules are less massive.
Somebody's like: I'd think he'd have a better chair. And if we weren't allowed to touch the chair, it would be behind something and there'd be a sign that says "DO NOT COME WITHIN A MILE OF THIS CHAIR." He wasn't sitting in it, he was just looking at it.
someone else is like: there were a lot of crises then. I'm thinking "there are a lot of crises now too," although I've determined that the Palestinians received all their military training from Estonia so there's really nothing to worry about there. Knowing ISIS, they'll fuck up eventually. And if they do end up winning, they'll have won in spite their best efforts rather than because of them.
There's a Jamie Wyeth (son of Andrew Wyeth of Christina's World fame) painting there and a few watercolors of White House rooms commissioned by Jackie. And a cartoon of JFK in his sailboat, surrounded by the Secret Service and Press TV (in 2014, Press TV is the propaganda arm of the Glorious Islamic Republic of Iran, which is none of those things! It's not a republic, it's not Islamic, it's not democratic, and it's definitely not glorious!) helicopters.
There are actually speeches out there prepared for a failed (stranded on the moon) landing and a failed D-Day invasion (given what was going on on the Eastern Front, I'm not sure it would have mattered much). Most likely, they're in their respective presidential libraries.
