after midnight
Jul. 29th, 2014 12:35 amI don't think it was the most exciting day ever, even if Brigitte (apparently, this name means more or less the same thing as Sara) and Anja were around. Or maybe I'm just burnt out from the weekend. Oh yeah, I could find gloves that fit my giant Truckasaurus hands.
Alec was discussing what to get one of the interns* (the one who looks and sounds a bit like Kaz, except not really, because Kaz has blue hair now.) for her birthday.. Not pizza, but possibly ice cream or soup and salads. Either way, awesome.
*also, she has a dog that is totally not a husky shepherd mix.
Somebody brought her pet duck, and apparently, ducks can learn words like "tomato." His name was Sir Humphrey. Daisy turned out to be a boy, but he already knew his name.
There was a talk about raccoon brain tumors and some kind of virus and possible immune deficiencies caused by toxins or viruses or something else.
And two of the interns didn't know each other in college, despite having the same major, being in the same year, being in a small college, and even having more or less the same clothes.
Ian says that Tomo looks like one of the Gorillaz.
I checked out the simpsons episode with When The Saints Go Over There and holy missed opportunity, Batman! They could have called it One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blowfish.
I was going to ask this during summer arts weekend if Taco Shirt Guy's friend/sister/whatever didn't ask why the Canadian guy was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt when it's hot out, as I checked, and it's not a three-parter, it's a two-parter. I didn't save the question that prompted an answer like "well, I don't know what kind of game it is," but it turns out the question I didn't copy was the exact same thing as one of the questions I did copy.
I ganked it from Chris, by the way. And my answer is a hive that sends out gather bits of machinery and abandoned vehicles and gradually becomes the core of a truckasaurus.
Burning Question: Let's assume the RPG was about an army of sentient bees. Through the miracles of hivemind, they have taken over military installations and the associated weapon systems. Your job as The Dude is to wipe all of them out. I will now take this opportunity to add to the questions as back story has been established. Given that mechanized battle themes are a given as to the style, say through technology a group of bees can create localized electromagnetic fields. This can be done on such atomic levels as the other three forces can be neutralized. The final battle takes place in Detroit as the bees have taken control of the abandoned car manufacturing plants and used them for their own purposes.
Given the above backstory, what would the final boss look / attack like? Don't just say a giant robotic bee hive or I will be sad.
