horses are the most magical nonmagical animal ever.

Everything's at a really big scale. The floors are dull red rubber because when a black surface gets wet, it looks like a hole and the horse gets nervous, and they're kind of wavy to allow things like water and body fluids to drain and the horse doesn't notice anyway. White walls are too bright for the horses to handle so the walls are dull yellow instead, and all the windows have bars on them because horses don't notice glass. Except in the surgery suite, since horses aren't usually awake in there. There's a walk-in standing MRI, which causes the magnetic moments of all the hydrogen atoms in your body to align, And the human body is around 3/4th water, there are a lot of those. However, they're only 9.5% of your body mass. Also, you will not get any radio reception in the MRI room. Kristian was unwilling to enter. As long as you don't have anything metal in you, you'll be fine. Just don't step too close or your credit cards, smart cards, and phone will be erased. You can definitely feel it, though.

There's a farrier (this is basically a blacksmith who specializes in horseshoes) there, because they're going to need their shoes and any nails removed from their hooves when getting an MRI.

Horses have to be hoisted up by the tail.

There's a sand pit, a sand/stone path, basically used to assess their condition.

They basically walk around on their middle fingers. Unless they're chalicotheres, which walked around on their knuckles. Seriously, Anisodon grande was a freaking horse gorilla.

Tina Belcher asked this one.
burning question: do you think horses get songs stuck in their heads?
