I had one of those multi-part dreams so I thought it was Tuedsay for a while. And then I thought I overslept again, but thanks to fall back, it was only 7:30! Hurray for Zoidberg!

One of our box turtles had his leg trapped in another one's shell and I have no idea how it got there. Actually, I kind of do have an idea of how it got there.
Nina says "if you're in a situation where you can't swear, call them a nuchal scute," and "anal scute is what my dog does."
and she said "what the fuck?" three times regarding the perfect temperature of cheese, so this is not one of those situations.
And she wants to suspend the painted turtle from a zip-tie so he can learn to move his hind legs, because he hadn't moved them for days. However, if they don't move their front legs, they can't breathe, which is funny, because Nina says turtles are capable of going 120+ days without breathing.
This guy was caught in a harvesting combine or something. Ideally, we could get a giant suction cup of some sort and pull the shell up, but we can't do that and even if we could, we'd risk damaging his organs further. Instead, we epoxied some plastic things to his shell and zip-tied everything together. Nina wants some of those plastic things so she can walk her turtle on a leash.

No, I'm not angry. In fact, I'm really quite impressed at the leaps of logic it takes to say a man who writes articles about how to cheat on a woman, how to beat a woman and get away with it, and goes on sex tours in eastern Europe and southeast Asia and South America and thinks abusing a woman's pets to intimidate her is fighting for equal rights but anyone who doesn't have reverence towards women with downright repulsive beliefs or uses a feminine-ish handle is a misogynist.
