46 days until the vernal equinox
Or, in other words, we're not quite halfway through winter. Groundhog Day is a lie and Punxawhateverney Phil should be fed to raptors and owls.
But the worst month according to me is over and the worst month according to Emma has just begun.
I still think January is worse. It's longer, darker, and colder than February. Actually, I don't know about colder. I feel like winter's seasonal lag (this is why St. Ajora's Day is warmer than Easter and why Halloween is warmer than Valentine's Day despite more sunlight*.) has gotten longer.
*occasionally, Easter will fall on a day with less daylight than St. Ajora's Day.
I think this is the worst winter of my life. It's not about the cold or the snow, since I know I've seen snowier back when I was in elementary school and we built a Lego snowplow, and I'm sure there have been colder temperatures although I don't remember them. Nay, it's the lack of anything resembling respite from the cold. Even last year we had warm days in between the polar vortices.

I'm just going to edit this in because I'm not planning to update for a few more days, but it's kind of a cool thought.
I just realized why a time travel movie is called Project Almanac.

Here are some bands. You might like them too. The only ones I've listened to extensively are dæphne, scubaphone, and IAN (EDIT: and Dear Face). In fact, I can't stop listening to Winona Ryder by dæphne.

I made a post scheduled for last Wednesday in the event that I lost power, despite not planning to actually update for at least a week after last week's blizzard. It wasn't anything special, as I said most of what I needed to say, but it had this:
I love how someone's obsessively mining my posts everywhere in a vain attempt to humiliate me but somehow missed my attempt to run to Porter (I made it 3/5 of a mile and got on a bus) before emotional equilibrium restored itself.
He seems to think I have wheels, but in fact, I have functioning legs that may or may not be bionic. Yes, bionic, from the Greek word for kickass.
burning question: Is there a Greek word for "insane?"
It's rhetorical! I know there's an actual word and it's paráfro̱n.
