36 days until the vernal equinox
Alright, I braved the cold when I fed the goats and let them out and then took some recyclables out and then took some people out to see Falco and the goats, and I've had enough.

It was a fairly quiet day and I'm genuinely surprised we haven't received a load of seabirds.
The cockatoo was talking to me and singing along to the radio and even making trumpet noises and also trying to sneak into surgery and also trying to sneak out and attacking my ankles. The joke's on him, though, I was wearing pants and socks. If you're wondering, it's not so much a demonic raspy voice as Tilly et Cleo's owner said, it's more like a recording from the speakers on the T, so badly degraded you can barely tell what he's saying. I think he's saying "hi, Sam," because his name is Sam.
Tyler said he made a weird noise because he was jealous.
The rock dove had sheared off half of the bone so we can't pin it, we can't do shit for him.
We fixed the zipties on the painted turtle's shell because one of them fell off while he was shedding.

We think the bobwhite is female.

Hillary, who had dreadlocks of mostly brown with a few hints of orange, tied up with multicolored thread, had her hedgehog with her and I felt bad because the kids I gave a tour to wanted to see a hedgehog.
She plays clarinet, also guitar and vocals, and she dabbles in art but nothing serious.

Tiffany doesn't seem to know who Quilt is. She had to vanish somewhere and she talked about how sometimes after you've worked a lot, your mind goes sluggish. Something like that. I don't know. In any case, I didn't have time to have her listen to something by Quilt, which I think she'd like.

Sometimes I feel like "no, things aren't acting slower than normal, that's just time slowing down."

Amanda has "all was well" tattooed on her neck, which is the last line from Harry Potter. I don't know why she sounds so familiar. And it's not just the name Amanda; I'm not keeping an official Amanda count but I'm pretty sure it's three, and even including college, it's four, maybe even five; it was ubiquitous in high school but was supplanted by Emily and Sarah and Emma, but she has a common surname too. I'm not going to go around spouting what that surname is but rest assured it's common. It's not like armata or Yossarian or something.
burning question: what the hell kind of name is Yossarian?
