We got a new six month old white Nubian goat named Len, short for Eleanor, not to be confused with Len Trexler. Jessie, the woman who brought her to us, has purple hair and a dog. I didn't have my camera with me but here are some pictures I found on Instagram.

We'll probably see an official Len post before my birthday.

This is a gray fox we had. Because someone asked, no, he's not actually striped, that's just the lighting.

and here's the baby hawk we had in June. And is that... an inverted pinkie mouse? Dear Etro, that's disgusting!

A woman has a tattoo of an angel with corvine wings holding a heart that needs to be retouched, a lighthouse on her leg that she got during a bad time, and her companion had a tattoo of an apatosaur on her ankle. She likes old-school tattoos, the type that she gets over time and aren't part of a cohesive whole.

Someone brought in their ferrets, Houdini because he's an escape artist and Ellie or something just because, and someone brought her birds New because he's new and Haru because she read a book a long time ago and already had a bird named Rin. Haru is spring, like the season, not the source of water.

Gallop snuck out while I was giving some water and lettuce to the outside goose. He also tried to steal the goose's food from me.

Jack seemed to have escaped the spacetime anomaly and did have a vacation in St. Thomas, which is not in Europe nor is it a possession of a European country, but he does tell me that the island has an abundance of both blackjack and hookers, not that he'd know. Jack knows what Steins;Gate is.

Michael says that the most accurate part of Julius Caesar, a work of historical fiction, is Marc Antony's speech. While he didn't use those exact words, he definitely did rouse the populace of Rome against the Senate.

We're going to winter the Blanding's turtle because everything eats them until they're adults at which point only coyotes really bother and not that often. The woodchuck is being evil so we're going to release them, the waxwing is leaving, some ducks and geese are leaving, a hawk is leaving. On the other hand, we have an American toad, some FONS (I wanted to say it's fledgeling or nestling songbird diet but surprisingly we're not the only people who use that terminology and I found out that it means "formula for nesting songbirds" and it's a registered trademark at that) is coming out of an abscess on a bird, we have a scalped sparrow who needs a skin graft but that's not happening. So Anna will still have her hands full until September 1st when the autumn interns come. All four of them. Anna has some kind of cornucopia tattoo that I've never noticed before.
Good thing she had me around to help. The fish bucket wasn't that bad and I managed to cut the rat in two after much hacking, and then I cleaned out a kiddie pool for a gull and showed some people who have a dog named after Bob Belcher around.

Meanwhile, they're kind of unsure whether to move snow leopards from the endangered list to the threatened list, and we're not sure if this is a good thing or not.

burning question: do you think Two Face ever flips his coin to flip his coin?
