The herring gull tripped over a small twig and he was like "gaaaaaaawk" and Emily gave a demonstration by sticking her arms out and tilting her body.

Emily says she doesn’t think she’s ever eaten lobster. I think the last time I had fresh lobster that wasn’t in cake form was 1996, which is before Emily was born. She was eating meatballs, plain spaghetti, and broccoli, while Taylor was eating a dish made with Spanish rice and red peppers. It snowed where she was and she saw chicken rain boots being used as flowerpots on two sides of a stone pillar and she was thinking "I'd take those."

To answer our question about just what the fuck a blood snake is, a blood snake is a Malayan blood python. They're rust red and they're jerks.
(I saved the text file I write bits of entries in the day before my computer briefly gave up the ghost and what I said about Malayan blood pythons there is remarkably similar.)

Baby owls are not interested in eating mice tails. We rehomed a screech.

Jessica has rodo-iridescent streaks in her hair. At least, I think her name was Jessica.
Abby, who was not at the wildlife center, has short sky blue hair.

I said that if they were going to go with Luke turning evil like so many people thought, I think they should have had his character pull off a fake beard, wipe the fake flesh-colored makeup from his face, and say “Hello, friends! It’s your old pal Joker here!”
Although that would just be Final Fantasy VI.

My computer screen flickered and went black and then every time I tried to turn it on, it went black.

Then I proceed to break the glass screen. That would have been hilarious if it weren't so stressful.
Good thing I have a spare. Also, it's step one towards "removing the hard drive." Normally, you'd have to unscrew some things and then pull the glass screen covering off with suction cups. Or your hands if you're willing to break something. And it still works (for some definition of works; the screen at least doesn't flicker or go dark) so I can still copy everything to the new computer. It’s an amazingly slow process, since I have to do it manually, because if there's an error, it a) drops whatever it's doing or b) hangs until I force a logout. And there are things about the newer OS that I find off-putting or annoying. I agree with adamcadre that it looks kind of flat, especially as my old computer was still on 10.6.8.
I'm blanking on everything else at the wildlife center because of this.

At least I can rest easy knowing that whatever things I couldn't recover are mostly easily found.
burning question: burning question: how the hell does someone mistake a raccoon for a tiger?
