So I found out that you can get rabies in Oregon Trail II and the options aren't "rub garlic on the wound," "leave them behind to die alone," or "put them out of their misery," they are the standard continue, rest, slow down, or increase rations, along with laudanum, magnesia, or epsom salts. Actually, all the diseases involve administering laudanum, exceot for snakebite, which is the absolute worst thing to do in the case of a snakebite. I feel like there's usually a correct option although I'm not sure what that is for snakebite, a few options that don't do anything, like administering Smeckler's powder, and an option that just makes things worse, like giving a snakebite victim lots of exercise.
