The world struck up a balance. Outside the theater, it was slightly warmer than a usual late December day. Inside the theater, it was warmer but not much warmer. There weren't any artworks in the room outside the bathrooms, just white walls.
A nearby building was covered in Augment, a collaboration between Nick Cave and some local artists. Not the Australian musician.

Arcangelo Corelli was a famous violinist. The Concerto Grosso is broken up into five movements.
J.S. Bach's Concerto In D Major for three violins and orchestra is forever lost to the mists of time. What we have here is an arrangement based on his arrangement for three harpsichords that is in the key of C major.
The suite from Platée consists of an oevurture that begins in a sort of melodramatic sadness and then becomes happy; some rigaudons, a lively dance; Air pour les fous gai (for followers of Momus and Folly); a menuet that mimics the hurdy-gurdy; an air for tambourine.
Momus is the god of satire.
Rameau was 50 years old when he wrote his first opera.
Like most operas of the baroque era and most of the Classical period, it was written in a Catholic country and is based on Greek myths. It’s either that or classical history. I bet when La finta giardiniera premiered, people were wondering why not write an opera based on the common cat or the king of Siam. Anyways, it’s about an ugly water nymph who is convinced that Jupiter, king of the gods, is in love with her. Given Jupiter’s inclinations, he probably was.
Some argue that Bach’s Orchestral Suite no. 4 did not include trumpets and timpani when it was originally written. There’s a lively ouverture, three dances (bourrée, gavotte, and menuet), and a réjouissance.
The year began with the lack of any sort of closure but with a sense of relief, it ends with glimmers of hope in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Gambia, Ethiopia, with fears that things can still get worse in the Lebanon-Syria-Iraq-Iran Axis and in China.
burning question: Did Nepal really put “dulce et decorum est pro patria mori” on their coat of arms? In 1935. Up until 1962. They also had little faces on their flag and I’m sad they got rid of it. The moon looks sad and the sun looks pensive.
