78 days until the Vernal Equinox

I think I found my inverted Star Ocean 3 in Aquaria now that I can actually play the game without the water level randomly dropping whenever I use the Energy Form. By that, I mean I am willing to tolerate bad boss fights and questionable design elements because the story and setting are engaging and the visuals are really nice.
Once I read an article on insertcredit about Final Fantasy IV and it brings up Miyamoto's Law, which states that a game should show the player something they can't do before allowing them to do it. I don't know if I'd use Mario's breakable bricks as my go-to-example of that. I'd probably bring up every dungeon in every Zelda game starting with Link to the Past.
Aquaria has that in spades.

Michael described Halloween III: Season of the Witch as “if you took a Give Yourself Goosebumps book, read it sequentially, and made a movie based on that.”

I forgot her name but her family is from New Delhi. Sohaila’s family is from Punjab. I’m not sure but I think the name ultimately derives from the Arabic “Sahula”. Sohaila’s has one eye that is covered in dark streaks. She was cutting up guinea pigs, exceptionally stinky ones, and says that her butcher career is taking off. Suzanne’s mother spent time in Goa and had to spend time explaining to people that she is not a hippie, she was an exchange student there. Back in the 70s, it was a popular destination for hippies and now lends its name to a genre of trance music that seems like it's actually made by Germans and Israelisn. Those days seem to be long over with India becoming more and more conservative and ethnonationalistic.
Suzanne herself spends her time between Wisconsin, New Jersey, and Peru, and all three of those places she calls home. She was eating some mango and she gave it a good rating.

I forget what her name is but it’s one of those boyish nicknames. I want to say it’s Chris or I don’t want to say it’s Chris because the woman with her is named Krista. Or Crysta. She has a dog named Sir Grey Floppyears the III and a cat named Ginger. Krista has no pets.
She saw a raccoon salsa-dancing in the street one night long ago and I interpreted that as the raccoon trying to catch some food that they didn’t see.

This barred owl might be our last animal of 2019.
Also, Facebook made their images worse and I don't even understand how that's possible.

The Mad Geniuses are bemoaning over the lack of artificial colors and preservatives in food.
I rememer my middle school having really good chili but I might be conflating it with some chili my dad brought home from a diner in Brockton. On the other hand, the steak-ums looked very unappetizing.
Michael has memories of steak-ums. He’s not sure if they’re good or bad memories or if they’re just memories.

It's 2020. Suck it, Kaiser.
burning question: It’s 2020. How the fuck is Nello, of all the restaurants in the world, still open? Is catering to rich idiots like Kanye West, Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. and people who work for hedge funds the key to success? I'm not surprised they'd eat there. I even thought Aesop wrote a fable about it. I think I’m going to ask this every year until Nello finally shuts down or I die, whichever comes first.
