Someone brought her leopard gecko named Karen.
There were blackberry and key lime seaglass candies.
Just leaves won’t fill Olivia up. It needs rice as well.
Nicole ate four cherry tomatoes for lunch, says Olivia.
I said that most people who go into coding go into debugging or replacing Facebook or especially Reddit with a worse new version every few year, and then fixing what they break, or programming spambots.
There is a special hell for spambot creators. It’s the deepest layer of hell, even deeper than traitors. I’d imagine it would involve fixing the code for Action 52, except a bit more Sisyphean.
Jacob is ineligible to be President, as he is Canadian, and Ellie is ineligible as she was born in Russia and her mom couldn’t conceive kids so they adopted from a Russian orphanage right after 9-11 and they were afraid she had a bomb in her diaper. She wouldn’t want to live in Russia because it’s cold and she’d probably get drunk. Also Putin.
Ellie is of the sign of the Bringer of Order.
Ellie thought someone was listening to Christmas music, but no, that's just the music of that era, and Christmas music has become synonymous with the 1950s and 1960s
She has not seen Brazil, a movie which I believe is not actually set during the Christmas season. It's just an illustration of how much of a dysfunctional dystopia it is.
Aisling showed up to scope out the place for the summer and brought one of her many pet rats with her.
Heloise drew a Brazilian flag, a beach scene with a palm tree and a blazing K-class sun. Makes me wish I was, well, maybe not there for political reasons, but in Guayaquil or Buenos Aires.
Huh, she actually is Brazilian. I thought she was from California. Because she had a hoodie with the bear flag. And I’m always weirded out because the bear has one head.

She made this for Dova on Valentine's Day. Not quite red enough but oh well.
Tyler is painting a Hawai'ian scene. There's a smear of sunset colors, part of a volcano, an owl flying away from the eruption, and another bird perched on a tree branch. Why, yes, Hawai'i does have owls, one native, the pueo and one introduced, the barn owl. I did not know that but I did know that every country has owls.

burning question: WAAF is shutting down, to be replaced with … Christian Adult Contemporary? There’s a market for that shit? Also, I really hate to think that Hill Man was the linchpin holding everything together. There’s a message in there. When they had their “don’t play any songs written after 2002 that aren’t by established bands" policy, they were limping on. Now that they get rid of Hill Man and at least try to move away from being a half-assed time capsule of my high school days minus a whole bunch of nu-metal bands that time forgot, they get sold to a Christian broadcaster. Last time I was able to check Tunegenie, they were not only playing music in the morning, they were playing Wishlist by Pearl Jam and something called Dinosaur Pile Up and Ice Nine Kills and Rival Sons. I seriously thought I was on the wrong page.
