I’m afraid that by the time we get out of this, Boston Shawarma will be replaced by a Chick Fil A. And so will Moby Dick’s. And so will Phở and I. And so will Sàigòn Fusion. And so will everything else.
The wildlife center is closed.They are still taking admissions but won't let anyone inside they're closed for at least two weeks, probably longer. And everything this spring is canceled and I won't be surprised if everything this summer is canceled as well. So I probably won't be posting much until I get the all-clear signal because I'm probably going to spend most of my free time playing video games and watching cartoons and Youtube videos and I don't even think we've found our inflection point yet and Boris Johnson's ideal healthcare system is Mary, Turkmenistan circa 2005, which invovles abolishing free public health care and shutting down the hospitals outside of London and replacing medical textbooks with a book of G.K. Chesterton quotes. Why, yes, I am angry about that ill-timed quote about public education being a bad thing, which is apparently a real quote.
I am longing for the days when my biggest worries were my deterioring friendship with Ashley. Even a war with Iran would only result in the shuttering of Moby Dick or perhaps just a rebranding as Tajikistani food.
Speaking of which, the only bit of good news I've seen is that both Al-Qaeda and ISIS are focusing on the Houthis, which is how it should be.
I'm hoping they keep the Chance theme for 2021's Artbeat or more realistically 2022's.

The Hoydens and the Hoyts think the coronavirus is a conspiracy by the deep state or a Chinese bioweapon and they're not sure if the Chinese are lying about how dangerous it really is or if the liberal media is lying to create a panic and destroy the economy and Trump's chance of re-election and maybe trying to push universal health care. No. Trump fucked this one up and the only reason he's acting now is because the coronavirus isn't just hurting states that won't vote for him if he's the only candidate on the ballot.
One of the Hoyts even said that if Trump is smart, he'll double down on anti-Asian racism.
Some of them even think the coronavirus only affects Chinese people and the media is trying to keep this a secret from the rest of us.
burning question: Why does Trump think everything can be solved with a travel ban? On the EU but not on the UK, which is also going through a coronavirus outbreak and handling it with staggering ineptitude.
