wait for a little longer

I went to the other Van Gogh exhibit. The one at the Strand Theatre, which would actually be pretty nice in the summer and also if Singh’s Roti was open. At least it had signs of recent activity. Instead I got food elsewhere. The woman there had a corgi mask and short hair and a necklace of pink and red. Red for Vamlumtimes Day, except that isn't for another month.
It could be cheesy at times. It was free, though. The immersive part seemed to be on the stage. You could also go behind a curtain to the restroom and end up in the Shining. The exhibit was accompanied by various bits of music, an orchestral rendition of Rêverie punctuated by the hooting of a barred owl which they do not have in France, Winter from the Four Seasons, some new-agey music, some quasi-Japanese music. A woman with partly shaven mesopelagic (though the lighting made it hard to tell) blue hair and a satyr horn headband and a cane that lit up a helix with a blue light was talking about the time she got to see and even photograph an old-fashioned printing press. A woman with curly hair had a t-shirt with an X-Wing flying out of a Van Gogh starscape.
And meanwhile, I lament the world stolen from us.
I'm hoping we've reached the peak here.
burning question: Hélas, petit ami trop faible, que peux-tu pour moi? Sait-on la durée d’un rêve?
