That fact just doesn’t get as much attention as all the other Nazi shit and election fuckery that’s also happening. And I couldn’t understand the announcer’s voice.
My sign said “Shih Tzus against fascism,” with a drawing of Drake giving his death glare. I wrote “I’d rather have a bath than a king” as an afterthought but I only had a pen.
A protestor with a Carpe Diem tattoo had paintings of Trump and Kennedy as Devil Hitler. There were people dressed as Leia and Chewbacca with quotes from Andor, a sign with Captain Planet, “I only like ice in my bong,” “Turd Reich” with pictures of Vance, Putin, Musk, and Trump pasted on to various Nazis, NOPE with a cat kicking a crown, JurasSICK of Trump, Dinos against the Ice Age, “Steven Miller” above Wormtongue, “Trump except the part where Trump’s an evil idiot even when he’s not stupefied” above Zombie Theoden, and “Russell Vought” above Saruman, Freddy Krueger saying “You thought I was a nightmare?”
The only good orange monarch is the Danaus plexippus.
There were many frogs, many unicorns, at least three axolomeh, someone riding a chicken, and a few dinosaurs. No Reptar, though. Just regular dinosaurs, one being ridden by someone.
I said of “Ceasefire Now” that there is a ceasefire but they thought it meant see-us-fire. I didn’t come up with that one; it was either the Syrians or the Libyans.
If the Proud Boys showed up, I didn't see them. The Common is pretty defensible, if you think about it.
On the way home, I had a conversation with a human with a shih tzu named Blueberry because her daughter was in a purple phase and wanted things with purple names, like blueberries, grapes, purple, potassium permanganate, and something princessy. That's what I named my Fallout 2 character.
I bought Floating Worlds and Full Spectrum 3 at Brattle Books. They asked what book gave you nightmares on their whiteboard and I said Weaveworld
