They call themselves the Zodiac Duo this time though they're actually a Zodiac Trio. Their violinist was out with tendonitis, so it was just clarinet and piano. Kliment, the clarinetist, did most of the talking.

Michele Mangani - Blues
It ends with a quotation of the Rhapsody in Blue

George Gershwin - Three Preludes
The first of the preludes reminds me of the Simpsons theme.

Robert Schumann - Fantasiestücke
A suite of three pieces originally written for clarinet and piano but tolerated on violin or cello instead.
Schumann thought of the clarinet as more like a voice and less a thing of virtuosity.

Paquito d'Rivera - Three Dances (Contradanza, Habanera, Vals Venezolano)
This is for those who can’t choose between Mozart and mambo. A classical take on Latin music or perhaps a Latin take on Classicism.

Johannes Brahms - Sonata no. 2 in E Flat Major
I was worried we'd get an abrupt stop in the middle. I don't play clarinet but it looked like the reed was starting to give him trouble. Google AI is telling me that clarinets don't have spit valves but Google AI also said that the Smashing Pumpkins do not have a song called Age of Innocence so what do they know? NOTHING, that's what.
I'm getting conflicting actual information here.

burning question: Wait, shouldn't they be the Zodiac Duodecet? Tredecet if you're including Ophiuchis. Wiktionary does list the former but not the latter.

The comment about Mozart and mambo made me laugh aloud! I can't even begin to imagine what such a piece would sound like.
