15 hours until the vernal equinox
It was 75 on March 10. Then it went back to winter.

All these sculptures by Mo Kelman. The idea behind these ones is the contrast between the natural world and the built world and the phase shifts of water from solid to liquid to gas, too much rain or not enough rain.

Still Lake, Swallowed

Two Clouds, a Tower

Once It Held Water

Cloud and its Shadow

On Thin Ice

they have a handy dandy guide to the artworks but they’re listed alphabetically and not by where they’re placed in the room. You know, i could have sorted them in alphabetical order but that’s just as tedious.

There were also some flowers there and the florist said that this looks like Rosie the robot maid from The Jetsons had a very very bad day.

Ten years ago, I’d be able to batch upload everything.

Amazing artworks! The Mo Kelman sculptures call to me, I’m still trying to formulate why. Something about their dark brittle neuronal spikiness perhaps, combined with the burned colours. Fascinating.

Zook and I always play the „you can take ONE piece of art from this exhibition home, which one?“-game — and I’d be very hard pressed to pick a choice here, from all your pics.

As for Police Academy, fact, I know an otherwise very smart and intellectually hungry guy who owns the special dvd box with all films and considers watching them in one go a stellar and wholly fulfilling way to spend a weekend. Yeah, I don’t know either.
