Navel - Lost in a Hideout - The guy who wrote this describes it as remixed Metroid themes and some Metroid-inspired material. It reminds me of Flashbulb a little.

Navel - Flowing With The Rivers - A Secret of Mana-esque song that I don't like as much as the Metroid one, but it's still pretty good.

Baten Kaitos - Soft Labyrinth
I declared this week to be Sakuraba Week 120% Maxima! Because... oh, wait, Motoi's birthday was yesterday. Whoops.
We're going on a sidequest!

Wait, treasure is boring pirate stuff?

Well, that makes it worth it!

Here, you encounter some ninjas. They are mammals, fight all the time, can teleport around the screen, come down with logs that are better than bad, and generally make life hell for low-level party members. Get used to them. You see them a lot later.

This is near Ary. Strangely, there's no snow.

You don't actually eat it, seeing how it was kept in a box since the famed Pirate King died, and eating whale meat is wrong and if it's anything like eating dolphin meat, results in members of LAMBCHOP teleporting to your house, giving you guns, and then killing you while you try to shoot them to prove how badass they are. But you can find people who are willing to pay for moldy whale meat (possibly Dr. Fred), so be sure to get something out this senseless murder, you bastard. Or not. You don't really need it, and the monsters in Moria lead to wealth that is pretty much everything you need.

This is the blue candle. You can shoot flames that are clearly not blue from it and burn down bushes in order to find Old Men and dungeons and rupees and stuff... oh, wait. Wrong game. Here, the blue candle has no use. Sure, it turns the screen slightly blue, but this has no purpose whatsoever. At least, I never found a use for it.

This is the same thing as the blue candle, except it's a torch and it's green, and that means it's magical. Or not. Whatever. It doesn't matter. I looked this stuff up, and in the PS version, you need to use these to open doors where you get Shadow, but that was scrapped, probably because they couldn't get them to work in time for the SNES release.

There's also a red lantern, and as we have learned from the Legend of Zelda, red is better than blue. In fact, the red lantern is a million times better than the blue candle. Like its blue counterpart, it does absolutely nothing aside from tint the screen slightly, but it's RED. It wasn't as cool-looking, though, so I didn't take a screenshot. Red is not a magical color for fire, unlike green.

This is the True Treasure, which may not be equipped by Arche or Mint. Or Klarth. I know how much you want to have him put on a wedding dress and say "doo" to the tune of Here Comes The Bride, but nope. It's for Graham.

This is a weapon for Klarth.

And that's it. There's some other stuff, like a Sefira, which makes your experience increase faster, and some more rotten whale meat. And explosive cakes!

Well, let's head to Moria.
