I'm all burned out from the E&M final I had today. Thankfully, the next one is a GER. Anyway, the toxic blaze of insanity continues to burn, so I've been laying low and covering myself in blue woad, just to be on the safe side. Um, if you have not taken the How Would You Fare In Ambergris quiz (this means you, everyone but Moon, Amara, xSummonerYUnax, Hyde - who isn't going to read this anyway, and speaking of Hyde, I saw someone who looks like him, and he's very lucky I didn't have a phonograph, Little Marcy's discography, and some rope, and maybe someone who wandered in), please do so, even if you have not read the book. I, in my continued state of rebellion against putting anything remotely normal in the mood box, have acanthodii in there. Besides, doing an impression of falling asleep on the keyboard won't fit.

Also, here's another very important question. It's the traditional question of something-or-other, and they asked Jeff Vandermeer. If you owned monkeys, how many would you own, and what would you name them?

Jeff's response.
But if I did actually *own* monkeys, they would be woolley monkeys and there would be four of them, and they would take great delight in trashing our house while we were gone. They would climb up the chimney and drop out of it in great chuffing snuffles of black dust. They would terrorize the cats and try to take the car out for a spin. They'd converse with the mailman and chase away Jehovah's Witnesses. They'd get into the liquor cabinet and, drunk, repaint the walls a nice banana color. In the evenings, they'd curl up on the couch and watch the Simpsons while drinking banana dacquiris. In all ways, they would live contented and full and unselfconscious lives while in the little office in the back, I would be typing away, the music up loud, trying to drown out the wonderful din and play of their monkey business.

Suikoden V - The Knights
This has nothing to do with being called a white knight whatsoever. I just thought it sounded like Wild Arms overworld music.

Delerium - Innocente
This is, what, the fifth time I uploaded it, but Amara wanted it. Don't bother, unless you were too busy listening to Muse to get it those times. Or you're really new, because the last time I posted it was in Snow, Glass, Apples, and I've been too busy, as I said, studying for finals and being covered in blue woad, so it's still on the first page.

So, why do we love songs about misery?
