MATTHEW: Just remembering a book I read a long time ago, Tom Sawyer. There's a bit in it where these kids turn up halfway though their own funeral. I was just thinking. Maybe he'll walk in halfway through the service. "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated, Matthew," he'll say.
Gamingforce is dead. What's in my heart? A lot of sorrow. A little regret. And the memory of the coolest, strangest, most infuriating community I've ever belonged to. That's what.
Ok, that was from the Sandman too, but it's pretty much my thoughts. I mean, yeah, there's that unique stuff, like making a lot of effort to fix things and get out of sticky situations involving drama. Bobo's given up long ago. He's not bitter, just apathetic. That's what I think.
Depouillement (Loss) - A bleak foreshore. Creatures of the deep float half submerged in the ebb tide. The sky is full of owls.
The Lilywhite Boys, "Lords of Illusionary Success" - Some pale children jump back and forth like frogs across a fire of sea holly and yew.
The City (Nothingness) - A dog between two towers.
The Lord of the First Operation - In this card a monkey in a red jacket directs with his wand the antics of a man and a rat.
Eclaircissement (Enlightenment, or "The Hermetic Feast")-The doctor of this mystery lies beneath the sea. In one hand he holds a spray of rose hips, in the other a bell.
In Viriconium
Had it been alive, each of the five entries would be contained within the spoilers coming after the description of the cards. Because I can, you see. And it would be my longest entry if I did, even if most of it would be condensed within the depths of the spoiler tags never to be seen by GFFers' eyes.
Moon and I have considered starting our own forum, where the only drama is in the Prospekt Theatre.
Another thing: FOX decided to start The Simpsons in the middle of the episode (season 6, I think). ARGH. ARGH. ARGH. GRGRAKRRRG.
And they clipped the hot dog vendor guy saying "he's putting my kids through college."
What the hell?
