yamamanamaI searched for Beaver Water on last.fm to see if it existed. It doesn't, but there is a Water Lilly.
Let's call the band leader Lucas. His band mates are Pam and a guy who may or may not be named Michael.
Lucas: I like Water Lily.
Michael: ::from under a sheet:: I like it.
Pam: That would be too hard to search for.
Lucas: Ok, how about we add another L, so it's phonetically still lily? Lilly, see?
Michael: I like it!
Pam: That's a good idea, Lucas. Then people will find our stuff. Just like that band Delerium.
Michael: But what about the people who can't spell lily?
Pam: Couldn't we make a joke in Persian?
Michael: I hate it.
Lucas: I don't know Persian.
Pam: Fine. Besides, someone would get mad and vomit on your shoes. And it sounds like one of those bands that makes really bad covers of We Save Strawberries songs and combines them with Mystik Spiral.
Unless it's a one man (or woman) project, in which case, Lucas (or Pam) had a conversation with his (or her) invisible monkey friend, Horatio.

Maybe it would help them if they spelled it with four Ms and a silent Q.

Christianity is Stupid succeeds where so many 4chan memes have failed miserably. Sort of. 4chan takes something mildly funny at best when it's still in context and takes it out, completely destroying all sense of funny. Christianity is Stupid takes something very funny in context (a religious anti-communist propaganda film from the 1970s) and makes it bloody hilarious.
