Now taking bets.
Dec. 15th, 2007 10:04 pmWill I get Autumn's Grey Solace first or will Kara Mano Iru talk to me first? It's been, what? Three... four... I don't know anymore... days since I attempted to talk to her. She wasn't as hostile and said to hold on, she won't forget. If it was anyone else, I'd be very pleased.
1. Was 2007 a good year for you?
It was very bittersweet.

4. What are your plans for 2008?
Graduate, go to graduate school, be annihilated when the moon falls upon the earth, summon butterflies.
5. What countries did you visit?
The furthest I went from home this year was New York. Declaring a plot of land around me to be The Republic of Ambergris doesn't count.

October... something. But it had cake. Or maybe death.
7. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Typing Smashing Pumpkins with the thingus obscuring it.

b) Happier or sadder? Sadder.
c) Richer or poorer? Same.
16. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Talking to someone who's actually really cool. See, that's the problem with assuming that because one person thinks because his friends said I suck that I suck means everyone thinks the same.
17. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Lying there like an unemployed whale because I felt I had nothing to look forward to.
18. How will you be spending Christmas?
With family.

Reconciliation.
28. What was your favourite film this year?
Torn between Pan's Labyrinth, Twelve Monkeys, and City of Lost Children.
We're talking about things I saw, not things that came out, right?

37. Did somebody treat you badly in 2007?
Yes.
I like to think I'm more tolerant of others' transgression.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year?
It's astonishing how much trouble one can get oneself into, if one works at it. And astonishing how much trouble one can get oneself out of, if one simply assumes that everything will, somehow, or other, work out for the best.

Closed doors bring open minds.
